On Site Equipment/Facility hire with Full Instruction.

Archery: An Archery Range is available for hire. All equipment is provided. Maximum of 16 per hour and must be 8 years of age and over.

Rifle Shooting: A covered Air Rifle Range is available for hire. All equipment is provided. Maximum of 16 per hour and must be 10 years of age and over.

Climbing/Abseiling: There is a 30’ Climbing and Abseiling Wall, the site provides all equipment. Maximum of 10 per hour and must be 8 years of age and over.

On Site Equipment/Facility hire.

Adventure Course: There is a permanent Adventure Course for campers. This is only to be used under adult supervision and be booked in advance with the warden.

Skittle Alley: Indoor, two nine pin alley’s. Maximum of 16 per hour.

Pioneering: There is a well maintained pioneer store and pioneering ideas are available from the office. The “Ravine” across the site provides the opportunity for practical pioneering.

Orienteering: There is an Orienteering Course on site and maps are available free of charge from the office.

Push Ball: Large pushball, games sheets provided.

Parachute: Ideas for games supplied.

Bows & Arrows: Small bows & arrows for young children.

Photo Orienteering: Unusual photographs of site landmarks.

Maze: A maze, complete with a yellow submarine. Maximum of 25 per hour.

Giant Games: Three games available, suitable for 20 players. Connect Four, Jenga and Jack Straws.

Initiative Exercises: An initiative exercise course set out on site with instructions provided for Leaders to run.

Sports Day Kit: Sack race, egg and spoon, etc. enough for 4 teams.

Evening Games: Karaoke machine, Giant Snakes and Ladders & Play Your Cards Right.

Frisbee Golf: 9 “hole” course set in the woods. Leaders to Supervise.

All Groups hiring equipment must comply with the above ratios and be instructed by a qualified person with the relevant National Governing Body Qualifications or Scout Authorisation. All relevant qualifications must be produced prior to the visit.
Private firearms/bows are not to be brought to the site, except for organised competitions. You must have written permission from the Warden to do so.

ALL YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD BE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY CAPABLE OF TAKING PART IN THE ACTIVITY.
